20th June update- 40% overall

Today was busy in that myself and my girlfriend went to meet with the surgeon.
He was very personable and agreed to do the total thyroidectomy on 17th July -less than one months time!  Unfortunately this needs to be done privately and we discovered afterwards it will cost about 4,000 euros for surgery plus hospital stay. Health insurance won't cover it as its a pre-existing condition. But we're going to go for it anyway as this way it can be done dusted and into recovery before the baby arrives in August.
My symptoms have been improving very very slowly -up today at 10, showered etc, out to surgeon for appt at 11:40. Tired while waiting for surgeon and had to lie down for appt. came home and rested from 2 -slept for an hour. On net for two hours without too much tiredness. Tomorrow we'll see if I pay for today's activity!
Latest results from blood test last week were tsh 1.71 and 12.9 free t4. This is beginning to be in normal range of tsh

Didn't sleep til 2am so ended sleeping in til 1pm
Ate breakfast in bed - then showered and made it downstairs to eat lunch
Went to local shops (1 min walk) to get cash
Slept for two hours in second bedroom
Mother arrived let her in carried bags
Chatted a while
Rested 4 to 6 and ate dinner in bed at 5:30 slept 6 to 7:30
Liz home at 7:30 - chatted for an hour got foot and calf massage
Tiredness crept in at 9-ish short rest and plan to go asleep 10:30

Evening rating 20%
Overall 35%

Heart elevated and puffy face -obvious still fatigue. No tremor etc

Phonecall from gp at 9:50 to tell me my tpo level antibodies were 484 previous test was 418.
Back to sleep Woke 12:30 again and had light brekkie
Bit of crisis of confidence today - am I tired /fatigued or am I overanalysing my triggers and afraid of triggering worse fatigue I.e. eye / brain fog, elevated heart rate and weakness
Up to 2pm bout same as yesterday - after 4pm much better. Maybe 50 or 60% .
Spoke to my dad and he gave me good advice about not staying in bed and challenging myself
3 x 10 of neomercazole, 2x10 inderal
Not sure if the inderal is making me drowsy but def brings down heart rate from 95 /100 lying down to 75/80.
Appointment made with new gp on thurs plus the beautiful one is going to ring my endo tomorrow and ask for second surgical referral for second opinion and possibly quicker surgical appt.

• Practice two breathing meditations
• 5 mins classical music listening
• Let my mother in and help her get set up

Upon waking @ 10 : nausea and weakness for about 2 hours
@ about 12:30 this cleared ate breakfast.
Rested then made lunch downstairs and ate about 1pm
Rested, slept 2 hours
4pm felt better came downstairs felt ok
My beautiful one came home at 5 - chatted for 30 mins
Rested 5:30 to 7
Ate dinner rested for remainder of evening
Feeling very wired now -heart rate 95
